Licence Wizard. change notes
VersionStateDate
Changes since last version
1.23.release09/Jan/2006
Licence Wizard now has a Universal Licence option for Distributors only
A Universal licence (and congifuration file), can be used by Distributors for all products. The one licence does all. It will also do all versions.

A Universal licence will never be supplied to a customer, although this licence wizard version may be.

1.22.release09/May/2005
Licence Wizard now handles both static and network licensing
All users of static licenses no longer need to switch to network licences. This is probably better, as normally, you do not wish to have to handle the associated problems with getting the licence off the network.

Verify that your LSFORCEHOST environment variable is set to 'no-net' after installation as this defines that you use static licences.

You can user a remote server by simply setting the LSFORCEHOST variable to the ip address, or name of the remote server.

1.21.release09/May/2005
Crucial performance update for all programs
This greatly improves the startup speed of our programs. However, it relies upon you obtaining new network licences from us.

You MUST uninstall LicenceWizard, THEN uninstall the Sentinel LM licence server before installing the new LicenceWizard.

You MUST install LicenceWizard 1.21 for Engineer 1.1.44 and ShoeDesign higher than version 1.1.65-10.

Additionally, it allows one to use system wide network licensing. i.e. You can install the licence server on one machine, then run the program from any other in the same network subnet.

Programs with an old 'static' licence may run slower until you get a new network licence from us.

1.20.release01/Nov/2004
Network licensing
Simply installs the license server without prompting, in support of Engineer 1.1.42 which can use network licensing by default. A network license seems to avoid the start-up delay of 1.19
1.19.archive21/Sep/2004

1.18.archive17/Aug/2004
